Child Rights
Every child has four basic rights like the right to survival, development, protection, and participation. But the rights are violated every day, and children are forced to do much heinous practice like prostitution, bonded or adults at a tender age. Every concerned individual has to protect their rights, as the formed are not capable of so protection and promotion of child rights is on the thrust areas of BAWS and we are associated with state and child and work with them for the hobby. Advocacy of protection and promotion of child rights. In our project areas, more specifically in tribal regions of Uttar Dinajpur district, we are educating the womenfolk and adolescent girls on such issues. It is a continuous program of BAWS NGO and it has a very good impact
on the tribal folk. We are in the process to provide daycare facilities to such children whose mother is engaged outside. When you teach somebody how to read, they have that too a lifetime it ripples through the community, one by one. We move toward the strength of this statement to eradicate illiteracy from the communities it works within as it believes that it is the basic right of every child to get a basic right are interrogated and the most crucial right is the right to development the society stands on these pillars to make a child-safe in every aspect of its life.

- Feedbacks are given to parents regarding the child’s progress, strengths, weaknesses, and talents.
- The parents are highly encouraged to send their children regularly to school, resulting in 100% attendance at BAWS.
Plantation
Tree Plantation has become vital to rescue planet Earth from pollution and balancing the temperature. Every year, with the help of the horticulture department, we promote plantation activities in our project areas. During this year we have planted more than 3000 saplings of panchayat office premises and community land in Karandighi block of Uttar Dinajpur district. Apart from the community-level plantation activities, we have provided fruit-bearing and vegetable seeds and saplings to the beneficiaries of our project villages under Karandighi block to grow in their backyard to promote plantation activities and enhance nutritional intake.
Health & Nutrition
Our health is everything, yet 250 people in Karandighi block (West Bengal) can’t afford or don’t have access to basic health care. We believe good health care is everyone’s right. Society makes qualified health care available to vulnerable mothers and children so they can live in the lounge and grow stronger. In this context, BAWS focuses on Health for all and on other matters to ensure quality health care with equal access in the community.
